To coincide with the opening of their Oxford Street flagship store New Balance have just dropped this epic 1500 which is aptly inspired by the iconic London Black Cab.
The subject matter is clear to see throughout this 1500 from the matt black leather upper representing the paintwork of the Hackney, grey highlights used to insinuate the chrome trim and the bright orange accent across the tongue which plays on the cabs for hire sign which sits atop its roof. The leather and mesh upper is complimented by a white, grey and black ENCAP sole unit.
The perfectly executed silhouette carries the “Made in England” stamp which is only carried by those shoes created in the brands Flimby factory in Cumbria leaving no doubt that the entire creation is a very English affair indeed.
The 1500 London Cab was available alongside a women’s 991 in the new Oxford Street store numbering 70 pairs and a small release elsewhere
